Forget everything you know about what’s possible with an app.

Pause. Take a deep breath. Release… This simple practice has transformed the lives of millions around the planet, and we want you to experience the same benefits. We founded this company with a vision: “let’s take this biofeedback technology that is changing our lives, and share it with the world.” This journey is just beginning, and we want to transform the planet one breath at a time.

So what is this app all about?

Breathscape uses biofeedback to gently retrain your body to take deeper, slower breaths. Taking slow, deep, intentional breaths activates the parasympathetic “rest and digest” pathway in the brain and sends a signal to the body that it’s safe and ok to relax. This simple practice is clinically proven to relax and unwind the nervous system. Breathscape makes this entire experience enjoyable and rewarding.

  • “My patients have said that they experience more connection to joy, creativity and relaxation as a result of Breathscape... There is nothing else like it.” - Amy

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Breathscape is a sensory experience that promotes meditation, anxiety reduction, relaxation, and sleep induction through deep slow breathing supported by auditory biofeedback. Using only a smartphone, this software connects you with your breath and supports healthy abdominal breathing patterns in a way that has been described as “effortless.” By hearing music generated by your own breath, in real-time, you become more aware of your respiratory rhythm and naturally begin to take slower, deeper breaths.

Breathscape tracks the motion of your breath using only your phone and generates a custom and immersive musical experience in real-time. Simply sit or lie down and place your phone against your stomach such that your breath gently tilts the device. The app conducts the melodies of angelic voices, stirs wind chimes, and gives rise to the sweeping sound of ocean waves. Every session is unique, and the breath conducts the symphony.

SUFFERING FROM MIGRAINES?

Stress is a leading factor for migraines and deep breathing is proven to reduce the brain’s stress response, which reduces inflammation and relaxes the body. Studies show that breathing practice can treat acute migraine attacks quickly, prevent future episodes, and may cut your number of migraine days.

IS BREATHSCAPE FREE?

We’re providing access to this technology at no cost for a limited time.

IS BREATHSCAPE FOR ME?

There are a number of specialized music apps available including Noisili and Brain fm, breathscape is unique in that it creates an ever-changing soundscape with you in each moment through breath biofeedback, a unique approach from other breathing apps such as Breathwrk and Breethe. While other apps support a variety of pranayama techniques (or specific breathwork styles such as box breathing), Breathscape focuses on deep breathing (into the diaphragm) to activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

There is a strong body of neuroscience research supporting the calming benefits (e.g. stress relief, lower blood pressure) of deep slow breathing. It’s perfect if you’re experiencing insomnia and looking to fall asleep fast. Our users report that they sleep better, and Breathscape helps them quickly drift into a night of deep sleep. Many users also find the app helps mitigate their migraines (and aura symptoms), it’s a great companion app for other technology such as Migraine Buddy.
